Bob Arno, (a Swedish by birth) is primarily as a comedy pickpocket entertainer and more recently as a criminologist specializing in global street crime.
Time magazine wrote: "One of the world's foremost experts in the techniques of first-rank 'wires' (or 'cannons' or 'pit workers') is Bob Arno, a 29-year-old Swede whose demonstrations onstage and in nightclubs earn him more than $100,000 a year."
The Wall Street Journal published an article titled "Beware the Stiff-Armed Stranger; He May be Lifting Your Wallet," in which it quoted "Robert [sic] Arno, a Miami, Fla., pickpocketing expert who's advised police in various countries."
According to Bob, while he was on a photojournalism project in Southeast Asia, investigating marketplace swindles, he noticed pickpocketers, and fake-jewelry hustlers. His exposés caught the attention of the U.S. Military and he was asked to give lectures on the subject.
Arno's presentations, complete with demos and comedy, were so well-received he took his "act" into show business. Today, his peripatetic lecture-show has been seen by millions all over. Now he probably knows more than many professional pickpockets operating around the world.

One can say that his name is a synonym with the word ‘Pick Pocket’. Whanna check? Google ‘Pick Pocket’ and you will see the result.
When he's travelling, he keeps his money tucked inside his trousers, in a thin leather pouch hanging from his belt, but for bait, he uses a wallet stuffed with newspaper. So far, it's been stolen more than 100 times.
